Job Description
AppliedVR is looking for an AP/AR Specialist to support the Accounting Manager in an active role that will help to drive the success of our growing Accounting function. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the Accounting Manager to enable smooth and efficient operation of the department
- Manage the accounting mail and shared email inbox by promptly sorting and routing incoming documents and responding to inquires
- Assist with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes, including data entry and invoice tracking
- Support employee expense reporting and reimbursements through the Concur platform
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records to ensure documentation is audit-ready
Experience & Skills Preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, related field or equivalent experience
- 1 + years of experience working with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookup, xlookup, pivot tables, macros, etc.)
- Experience with QuickBooks, Bill.com, and Concur strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously, remotely, in dynamic fast-paced environment
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $40,000 - $45,000. The salary range describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position across all US locations. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to relevant qualifications, depth of experience, skill set, certifications, training, education, and specific work location. The compensation packages may be adjusted based on candidate work location, due to differences in the cost of living for the given location.
